Kim Kardashian has become involved in a feud regarding Caitlyn Jenner's new memoir, saying: "Talk bad about my mom, I come for you."
In an episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," mom Kris Jenner asked 36-year-old Kim to read "The Secrets of My Life," Caitlyn's new memoir, to help her figure out whether she was overreacting to claims made by Caitlyn in the book, according to People.
In the memoir, Caitlyn describes herself as a "punching bag" during her marriage with Kris, and said that she had been "hoarding" money over the years.
When discussing the book with Caitlyn later, Kim appeared to take her mother's side.
"Mom's obviously upset about it so ... if those are your feelings those are your feelings, but mom feels a certain way about you and she has the right," Kim said. "I'm going to read it and tell you honestly ... Talk bad about my mom, I come for you."
"This book, it's my story," Caitlyn argued. "Everybody has stuff in life that they have to deal with and this was my stuff and this is how I dealt with it."
After reading the book, Kim was upset about what Caitlyn had written about her mother.
"If you turn on my mom and you continue to bash us, I can't -- even for the sake of my sisters -- spend time with someone who doesn't care about my mother," said Kim.
"She has her thoughts and you have your thoughts and that's fine, but I do feel like there's a way to tell your side of the story without being so negative," said Kim during a sit-down to discuss the memoir with Kris. "Like, everything is always your fault ... I just have no respect for her anymore. Someone that had this perspective, I wouldn’t even want around."
"My mom has been so fair to Cait and Cait has no decency towards her whatsoever," Kim concluded. "I don't think my mom has to try anymore. It's time to move on."
Caitlyn's relationship with her family has been "strained," according to E! News. A source said that Caitlyn's 21-year-old daughter, Kendall, "rarely speaks" to her.
"The more time that has passed, the more she feels Caitlyn has let her down with the things she has said and with her actions," said the source.
On Australia's "Today" show, Caitlyn revealed that she hadn't spoken with Kim in "a long time."
"I love Kimberly, I think she's a wonderful person," Caitlyn said. "But, well, to be honest with you, I really haven't talked to her in a long time. I've kind of let everything calm down. So I kind of stay, you know, I keep my distance."
She said on "The Talk" that she hoped she could someday fix her relationship with her ex-wife, saying, "[Kris and I are] not talking as much as we used to, but I'm sure that'll change when everything calms down."
