Authorities say a Missouri couple has been arrested after allegedly luring a young girl into their house and forcing her to perform sex acts.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office announced charges against Terry Roderick, 42, and Brittany H. Golden, 29, on April 13. The couple faces four counts each of first-degree statutory sodomy.
The gruesome incident happened on March 7, 2015 on the 300 block of Quail Village Drive, according to court records.
The victim came forward and told police about the incident a couple days after the assault, reports KTLA.
Prosecutors say Roderick and Golden trapped a 10-year-old girl in their home and forced sexual contact with the child. Police say the couple led her upstairs where they purportedly took turns sodomizing her.
Roderick is suspected of touching the child’s genitals and making the girl touch his penis with her hand. The couple then forced the girl to perform oral sex on both of them, according to KTVI.
Roderick has a long history of crime and spent seven years in prison for assault, drugs, weapons, resisting arrest, burglary and fleeing the scene of an accident, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch via KTLA.
He is being held on a $250,000 bond while Golden is held on a $100,000 bond with 10 percent cash permitted.
There have been many other instances of child entrapment and rape by couples. In March 2015, a Massachusetts couple, who raped a 7-year-old boy over a period of eight years, was sentenced to prison, reports WCVB. Kathy and David Oaks stopped abusing the child when Kathy became impregnated by the 14-year-old victim.
