A shooting range in Alabama has sparked controversy after it reportedly posted a photo on Facebook showing a baby holding a firearm.
The Montgomery Indoor Shooting Complex defended its decision to post the photo, which shows an infant holding a handgun and swamped by rifles, reports WJLA.
"Primarily here at Montgomery Indoor Shooting Complex, we promote firearm safety, so in order to stimulate a little dialogue, we put a controversial picture in effort to get people's feedback and get some awareness about that topic,” said Lilly Ann Gibbs, a spokeswoman for the company.
Gibbs added that the shooting complex doesn’t condone the photo.
Possibly after receiving so many comments about the image, the complex eventually took it down and replaced it with a “Project Child Safe” video, reports Fox 29.
