| by Sarah Fruchtnicht

A North Carolina man was arrested after he allegedly sold fake crack cocaine to an undercover police officer.

Cameron Mitchell, 30, was making a delivery to a convenience in Halifax County on June 19, when he allegedly made contact with an undercover agent.

Mitchell allegedly crushed up a Pop-Tart and sold it to the agent as crack for $20, KFOR reported. Officials said the substance tested negative for the presence of cocaine.

Mitchell was arrested Sept. 4 and was charged with selling a counterfeit controlled substance and creating a counterfeit controlled substance, My Fox 8 reported.
