I wouldn’t know from experience, but I’d imagine that breaking into someone’s home is an adrenaline-inducing experience. Then again, it must not be that stressful if you can fall asleep doing it, right? That’s exactly what Florida man Dion Davis did this week.
Davis broke into a Sarasota County, Florida home yesterday with hopes of stealing some jewelry. But when a cleaning lady arrived at the home, she walked in and found him passed out on a bed. She called 911, and Davis was still sleeping when officers arrived.
Davis was eventually arrested, of course, but not before a few officers snapped pictures of the snoozing burglar. He passed out with a bag of looted jewelry right next to him:
When police woke Davis from his slumber, they arrested him and charged him with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
