Angela Scruggs was arrested on Tuesday after she allegedly pulled a gun in a Walmart parking lot in Murfreesboro, Tenn., after being asked to drive slower.

Scruggs told police that she placed her .22 caliber handgun on her lap after a man yelled at her to “stop speeding" through the lot, reports WGNS Radio.

The man walked over to Scruggs with his hands in his pockets, so the 37-year old woman pulled the gun out and placed it on her lap, according to the police report.

Jason Hill told police that Scruggs pointed the gun at him when he asked her to “slow down.” Hill recalled telling Scruggs that he was going to call the police, but her response was, “I don’t care, I got a carry permit.”

An unidentified witness claimed that Scruggs did tell Hill that she would shoot him.

After Scruggs was pulled over by police, her gun was confiscated and she was charged with aggravated assault, noted Talking Points Memo.

Scruggs has a court date set for October.
