NRA board member and rocker Ted Nugent falsely predicted last week that the Boston bombing suspects would not be caught under the Obama administration.
After being proven wrong, Nugent complained about the American justice system and advocated the public hanging of Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Writing for the conspiracy website WND.com, Nugent claimed: “[Tsarnaev] probably won’t go to trial for more than a year due to court-sanctioned delays. Once he’s found guilty, he will be afforded any number of appeals that will take more years, possibly more than a decade. The young voodoo nut has got a long life in front of him, thanks to America’s screwed-up justice system.”
"Imagine if this jihadist punk had basically committed the same crimes 150 years ago," Nugent added. "He would have been swinging from an oak tree in Boston Common no longer than 60 days from the date of his arrest. That would be justice."
Nugent went on to complain about "soulless lawyers," appeals and court-sanctioned delays.
“There will be no swift justice for the Boston voodoo punk,” Nugent opined. “He’s got a long life ahead of him. How pathetic.”
Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) also mentioned hanging this morning on Fox News, reported Mediaite.com (video below).
“In World War II when American citizens helped the Germans, they were hung,” Graham recalled.
“I could care less about the trial, a first year law student could do this trial, I want to gather intelligence,” Graham added. “He’s a potential enemy combatant. He has ties with overseas terrorists. He’s clearly a radical Islamist. I would hold him under that theory when the public safety exception expires.”
