Robin Hall recently returned from a cruise vacation and was arrested for stealing a pack of cigarettes from a Walmart — in 1991.
Hall is being held in a Brevard County jail on a warrant from 1991. She will soon be transferred to a Central Florida jail, reports CBS Tampa.
Hall told WESH-TV that she owed the state $85 in court costs. "I just want it all to be over so I can go home," she said.
Hall was taken into custody after arriving at Port Canaveral from a cruise vacation with her family.
Apparently, police checked the cruise ship’s passenger list for terrorists and found the very old warrant for Hall.
Hall is an architect who designs jet engines for Pratt & Whitney.
