The parents of the two Boston Marathon bombing suspects may be coming to the United States in the near future. The father of the two brothers, Anzor Tsarnaev, has said that he is leaving Russia to come to America in the next few days, and his wife, Zubeidat Tsarnaev, is still thinking it over.
Zubeidat has said that she thinks the terrorist attack that her sons are accused of carrying out was "a show" and that it was staged.
"That's what I want to know because everybody's talking about it -- that this is a show, that's what I want to know. That's what I want to understand," she said. She claimed that the blood seen on the ground was paint, the New York Post reported.
When asked if she has seen the news images of the actual bombings, she simply responded, "I haven't."
She did sound upset when talking about the victims of the tragedy.
"I really feel sorry for all of them, really feel sorry for all of them," she said, while her voice cracked.
The body of Tamerlan remains unclaimed. Relatives who live in the area have stated that they are ashamed of the two men.
Anzor could leave for the U.S. as soon as Friday. Human rights activist Kheda Saratova will be serving as his representative. It is unknown what information Anzor will be able to contribute to the investigation.
