An unidentified 50-something man calmly walked into a McDonald’s this morning with a knife sticking out of his back.
Bystanders took a picture of the man with the 6-inch knife lodged in his back (video below).
The stabbing happened during a knife fight involving a large group of people in the Jamaica section of Queens, say police.
When the cops arrived, the man was talking on his cell phone.
“He was on the phone, I’m pretty sure he was on the phone talking to somebody in his family or a loved one, he was talking to them and telling them it might be the last time he’s speaking to them, he just wanted them to hear his voice,” a witness told WABC.
The man, who was not seriously injured, was taken to a local hospital.
Police are searching for suspects from the attack, which may have been drug-related.
"I don't know if he was in shock or what the situation was, but he was fine! It was like, 'Just another day in the hood.'” Another witness told the New York Daily News. “It was crazy! It's always rowdy over there because you have all the methadone people."
