An unidentified man recently urinated on the fruit section in a grocery store located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Shocked witnesses claimed the man relieved himself on some fresh apples and oranges.
"It's the first time I've ever heard of such an incident. Apparently, the fruit was worth 700 kronor ($127), which has now gone down the drain," said Gothenburg police officer Victor Prastbacka.
The man, who was allegedly intoxicated, was taken into custody by police officers and charged with vandalism, noted The Local.
"We will question him when he has calmed down. We will contact the prosecutor and try to get a hearing as soon as possible," stated Prastbacka.
This is not the first time an incident like this has happened in Sweden.
A drunk man was arrested after urinating on pizzas in a pizzeria after being refused service in 2012.
