Legendary NYC DJ Dave Herman Busted Arranging Sex With ‘Incredibly Sexy’ 7-Year-Old

A renowned New York City disc jockey was busted in a sex sting Thursday when he was charged with attempting to arrange sex with a 7-year-old girl in the Virgin Islands.

David Herman, 77, the former host of “The Dave Herman Rock and Roll Morning Show,” allegedly arranged to have sex with a girl, who he believed was six at the time, in St. Croix, where he has a vacation home.

“Age 6 is the perfect time to start her being loved that way,” said the retired DJ. “I find girls that age incredibly sexy, soft, and their innocence is also a huge turn on for me.”

Herman didn’t know the girl’s mother, ‘Kris,’ who he was communicating with online, was actually an agent from the Department of Homeland Security.

He told the woman he planned to ply her fictional daughter, Lexi, with alcohol.

“Herman promised he would not hurt ‘Lexi’ though he might have to be ‘forceful’ with her,” according Homeland Security Special Agent Mark Lubischer’s written complaint. “Herman suggested that they could give ‘Lexi’ some alcohol to relax her.”

Herman was recorded making arrangement with Kris over the phone on Sept. 30.

“During this conversation, Herman discussed how he wanted to ‘break’ Lexi’s hymen and also stated that he was looking to do a lot of ‘oral’ with her,” Lubischer wrote.

Herman was on the air at the now-defunct WNEW-FM in NYC from 1972 to 1998. He hung out with rockstars like Bruce Springsteen, Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Pete Townshend.

When he flew from LaGuardia to St. Croix on Thursday he was met and arrested by special agents of the departments of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

He was charged with interstate transport of a minor for sex. He is scheduled to appear before the U.S. magistrate in the Virgin Islands on Friday.

If convicted, he faces 10 years to life in prison and fines of up to $250,000.
