Ibragim Todashev was killed last May by the FBI, which was attempting to question him.
MSNBC's Rachel Maddow reported on Wednesday night that the FBI has blocked the release of Todashev’s autopsy report (video below).
Maddow also referred to an article recently published by Boston Magazine about how the FBI seems to have found reasons to deport Todashev’s girlfriend and several of his friends.
Maddow said that Todashev’s girlfriend and two friends were all “quickly deported or kept out of this country” after his death. These are people who could “conceivably talk about it or shed light on what happened.”
Maddow did air some graphic pictures of seven bullet holes in Todashev's body taken by a friend. The holes appear to be in his head and back.
The FBI has not explained why its agents shot and killed Todashev in May 2013 in his Orlando, Fla. apartment.
While some news reports say Todashev was armed, others say he was not, but the FBI won't give an official version of events.
The FBI claims that Todashev somehow played a role in a triple murder back on Sept. 11, 2011.
Todashev also knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev, one of the alleged Boston Marathon bombers.
The ACLU and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) have called for an independent investigation because the FBI has amazingly perfect record when it investigates itself.
The FBI has found its own agents blameless in 150 shootings since 1993, noted The New York Times in 2013.
