Worst. Parenting. Ever.
A young couple apparently trying to teach their toddler a lesson, threw the kid in a washing machine at a local Laundromat and closed the door. What this ignorant duo didn’t realize was that the washing machine had an automatic locking mechanism. For a few horrifying moments, the machine began to rotate and fill with water with the small child sealed inside.
The Laundromat’s security camera captured a horrifying video (posted below) of the ill-advised disciplinary approach. You can plainly see the father scoop up the child and stuff him in a machine labeled “Junior Wash.” As soon as the front-loader clicks shut, panic ensues.
The moronic couple bangs and pulls on the door, but they can’t get it to unlatch. The baby is stuck, twisting and turning in a tiny chamber that's slowly filling with water. After a few seconds of fruitless tugging, the father sprints off to get help. The mother follows soon after. Eventually they return with a Laundromat attendant who shuts the machine off manually and disables the automatic latching system.
The parents recover their tussled toddler and make a break for the exit. According to the person who posted the video on YouTube, the child sustained a few minor injuries but is expected to make a full recovery. In other words: it could have been a lot worse.
