Firefighters from Grand Rapids, Michigan, are being hailed for their efforts to save a small dog who was caught in a house fire on Sept. 15, WOOD reported.
A photo posted by neighbor Jordan Roberts depicted a group of firefighters working to save the dog’s life. “My 2 sons and I watched GRFD work for over 30 minutes on reviving a little dog who was in a house fire this morning on our street....it ended in a wagging tail and cheers!” she captioned the photo.
The image has since gone viral and has garnered more than 8,000 likes and 1,000 shares.
The firefighter who tirelessly worked to save the dog, even resorting to CPR, has been identified as Craig Lewis from the Bridge Street Fire Station.
