A woman was filmed punching and kicking an Uber driver who declined to take her home. She then climbed into his car and tossed his things on to the sidewalk (video below).
The unnamed woman attacked the driver while hurling abuses, telling him “I'll do whatever the f--- I want” after he refused to drive her because she had not hired him through Uber and because he was there to pick up another passenger.
The clip was captured by Juan Cinco, who had booked the Uber to take him home from the Mary Brickell Village in Miami, Florida, on Jan. 17.
After being refused a ride, the woman locked herself in the front passenger seat and began throwing money, receipts and a pair of scissors on to the street, barely missing startled bystanders.
Cinco later posted the video to YouTube. The description of the video says the woman, who was wearing tight white shorts and a red top, came “out of nowhere” and climbed into the back seat of the car.
When she refused to get out, Cinco and his friend told the driver to cancel their ride and said they would book another ride home.
The driver pretended to call the police, asking them to remove the woman from his vehicle, which incited the woman to reach into the front seat, grab his keys and walk away.
This was the point where Cinco started recording, according to Daily Mail. The woman is seen clinging on to the driver's shirt, telling Cinco to call 911.
He advises the woman to “let go of his shirt and go home” but instead she lashes out and strikes the driver. Trying to avoid hurting the woman, the driver holds her arms and tries to restrain her as Cinco's female acquaintance goes to find a nearby police officer.
The woman continues to fight the driver before kicking him in the shin, at which point he shoves her to the ground and gets in the front seat of his car as if to drive off.
But the woman moves into the front passenger seat and starts to toss items off the dashboard on to the street while demanding the driver “get in the f------ car.”
He refuses and the woman screams, “Get the f--- in the car you piece of f------ disgusting s---.” The woman continues to fling items on to the ground, including the driver's iPhone, cash and dozens of pieces of paper and receipts.
The driver calls the police and tells them he has “bruises” from the girl's attack. The girl teases him, saying, “I'm a 5-foot-tall girl who weighs 100 pounds and I am getting really belligerent right now.”
After hurling more items out the window, the girl gets up to leave, saying “I guess that's it. Goodnight” as she walks across the street away from the scene.
After the police arrive to restrain her, Cinco writes: “Once in handcuffs, she then tried kicking some of the police officers on the scene.”
“It was only when they put her in the police car that she started crying, apologizing, and claiming that she would lose her medical license [she claimed to be a neurologist] if she got arrested.”
The Uber driver reportedly took a "cash settlement" from the woman, rather than press charges, reports Daily Mail.
