Californians! If you’ve been planning a long vacation, say, something out of state, now might be a good time to get in your car and hit the road.
According to not one, not two, but three self-styled Christian prophets, a major earthquake will hit the west coast today, Oct. 3, 2013.
How major is major? One of the seers, “Pastor Joe,” says that God has revealed to him that the quake will record a Richter scale measurement of 9.7. That would make today’s prophesied temblor approximately 800 times stronger than either the Oct. 17, 1989 Loma Prieta quake that struck the Bay Area killing 63 people, which measured 6.9 — or the Jan. 17, 1994 Northridge quake in Los Angeles, measuring 6.7 and claiming an official death toll of 57.
It would make it a bit weaker than the 9.9 quake that wiped out Los Angeles in the 1974 film “Earthquake,” starring Charlton Heston and Ava Gardner.
Today’s quake, however, will strike San Francisco, “cleansing” that city. According to the aforementioned Pastor Joe, who holds a “Prophecy Luncheon” every Tuesday where he and other prophets predict massive disasters while dining, one of his correspondents envisioned, “the Golden Gate Bridge breaking in half and going vertical, a huge tsunami covering San Francisco.”
This prediction, he said, came from a woman who earlier this year predicted the Boston Marathon bombing.
He said when he shared this news at his weekly luncheon, “one of our sisters (Barbara) told me that the Lord had spoken to her clearly recently. He said that the ‘bowl of iniquity of San Francisco’ was now full to the brim!”
Another seer, or son of a seer to be precise, “Adam H.,” has posted a YouTube video (seen below) in which he conveys his mom’s prophecy, which also predicts a 9.7 quake.
“She has been having dreams and visions about a large earthquake off the west coast of the United States,” Adam says in the video. “She has had something like this happen to her once before. It was right before the Japan earthquake and tsunami. She basically predicted it. It was pretty intense.”
While Adam does not name an exact date for the disaster, he says, “It is early October in the daytime, sometime in the morning, on a Thursday. “
That sounds pretty much like today.
Finally, there’s Cindy Page, who predicted either Oct. 2 or Oct. 3 for the quake, followed by a collapse of the United States economy on Oct. 24.
So stock up on water and flashlight batteries right now.
