Sadie Robertson, the granddaughter of "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson and daughter of the A&E reality show's Willie Robertson, recently promoted her upcoming "Live Original" tour with a video (below) of herself preaching to an audience in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The 19-year-old posted the video Aug. 23 on Instagram with a caption celebrating her tour:
The other night in Tulsa was amazing! 17 souls saved!! PRAISE GOD! It got me pumped for the tour coming up next month, because this is the purpose of the tour ... whatever you see that night could change your life forever.
it will mean a whole lot more than just a follow on Instagram or a retweet on Twitter. It's a moment that we get to spend together, and dig a little deeper than we ever could through the Internet. Get your tickets today in the link in my bio!
The "Live Original" tour website states: "GENERAL TICKETS starting at $25. VIP TICKET packages available as low as $149.99."
In the video clip that Sadie uploaded, she told the audience she really values the in-person experience of the tour:
When I first jumped into this whole fame, I was like, "Oh my gosh, I'm getting so many followers. Oh this is so crazy, I can be such a light." But then I started missing what it really meant to bring light to the world.
Because I can be at home right now and I guarantee you that the 30 minutes I have to talk in front of you tonight are going to mean a lot more to you than the 140 characters that I could have typed in one Twitter.
Because that may get me some likes, some retweets, whatever, but that's just going to leave your mind, but whatever I say tonight this can light spark in your heart and last forever, don't miss that.
Sadie's famous grandfather Phil is not listed on the tour website page, but he has made headlines for his preaching over the years.
In 2013, a 2010 video surfaced of Phil preaching on gay people: "They’re full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, god haters, they are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless, they invent ways of doing evil."
In 2013, a video from 2009 surfaced with Phil preaching to an audience of men to marry girls as young as 15 years old: "You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16, they’ll pick your ducks. You need to check with mom and dad about that of course."
