Televangelist Pat Robertson advised women this morning on the "700 Club" to give their husbands sex as a reward for doing household chores.
“My husband has always felt the need to point out when he helps with chores around the house,” a viewer named "Carol" wrote to Robertson, reports RawStory.com (video below).
“When he washes the floor, or does anything else, he always says, ‘Remember, I did that for you.’ I feel since we both live in the same house, he isn’t only helping me but the family," added Carol.
Robertson lectured Carol that her husband is simply providing for her and this is “his way of saying I love you.”
“Do you want to have a loving, warm, sensuous, exciting marriage or do you want to have a partnership, a business relationship with your spouse? That’s what you’re asking for,” stated Robertson, noted RightWingWatch.org.
Robertson's female co-host Terry Meeuwsen then thanked her husband on the air for doing the dishes.
Robertson told Meeuwsen, “With each dish he’s saying, ‘Terry, I love you.’ If you understood that, you say, ‘Darling, I’ve got a treat for you… wait until we get behind closed doors, and you see the treat I have for you.’”
