Deductions to Remember When Filling Out Your Income Taxes

If you are a procrastinator, there is a good chance you are reading this instead of filling out your taxes. Well, CNN has some easily-missed deductions that you might want to remember.

By the way, the deadline for getting your taxes in this year is April 17 -- two days later than usual. That's because the 15th was a Sunday, and the 16th is Emancipation Day in Washington, D.C. Although it is not a federal holiday, the IRS says "according to federal law, District of Columbia holidays impact tax deadlines in the same way that federal holidays do." Hence the extra day:
