Former half-term Alaska Governor and current Fox News contributor Sarah Palin recently slammed Fox News and Republicans who are not supporting Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in his mission to shut down the U.S. government in order to defund Obamacare.
According to RawStory.com, Palin went on Twitter to call on Fox News to reveal which Republicans are slamming Sen. Cruz behind the scenes.
The tweet has since been removed, but it read: “@FoxNewsSunday Keep it TRULY fair & balanced. Release the GOP names encouraging you to trash @SenTedCruz No more anonymous sources.”
Palin also defended Sen. Cruz on Fox News today (video below): “Now these GOP elephants that are trying to turn on someone who is trying to fight for the will of the people, for liberty and for economic justice if you will, to have those turn on him is extremely disappointing. It’s not surprising though.”
Palin eventually returned to her favorite target, President Obama, who supposedly wants peoples’ minds distracted “away from things like, oh, perhaps he’d like to lob missiles into some foreign country’s civil war with no intention of having those missiles actually impact the outcome of that war.”
Palin never opposed President Bush's military actions against Iraq and in 2008 called the invasion of a "task from God,” noted the Anchorage Daily News.
