Former Republican half-term Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska has been slamming Planned Parenthood for allegedly killing black babies over the past few days (video below).
On Sunday, Palin posted an image on her Facebook page of the Confederate flag and the Planned Parenthood logo with the caption, "Which symbol killed 90,000 black babies last year?"
Today, Palin co-opted the police-brutality hashtag "#BlackLivesMatter" on Facebook and posted a long article calling for Planned Parenthood to be defunded.
Palin appeared on Fox News "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight and expressed her amazement about how the Planned Parenthood-Confederate flag image caused so much controversy, notes Mediaite.com.
Palin wanted to know why there wasn't more outcry about black (voluntary) abortions as there is about the Confederate flag (which represented white people who fought to enslave black people).
Palin also stated:
Planned Parenthood in the business of finding, finding targets so they may attract those who would be perhaps disadvantaged in some ways and be made to believe that abortion is their only option. That is why, Bill, 80 percent of Planned Parenthood shops are set up in minority neighborhoods.
Palin also claimed that Planned Parenthood was making women feel like they are not capable of carrying a baby for 40 weeks while going to school, working and raising "other children."
Palin didn't cite any evidence that Planned Parenthood was making women feel this way, but called it "atrocious."
O'Reilly asked Palin several times why Planned Parenthood was supposedly doing this, but Palin couldn't name a specific motive.
O'Reilly pushed Palin on why the organization was allegedly targeting black women, and Palin claimed Planned Parenthood was doing it to "profit" from U.S tax dollars.
