Stephen Steinlight, of the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), recently told the Highlands Tea Party in Sebring, Florida, that he wanted to impeach President Obama and suggested the president should be lynched.
The CIS website states that Steinlight is “one of the nation’s most insightful voices on immigration” and "a Senior Policy Analyst at the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS)."
Steinlight also claimed that House Speaker John Boehner’s lawsuit against President Obama is a “political loser," notes RightWingWatch.org (video below).
"A rash of opinion polls which have come out, not push polls, real polls, including one by Gallup that showed that 65 percent of the American people don’t want any part of an Obama-style immigration reform," Steinlight stated.
"But the idea of this [lawsuit] is vintage Boehner, it’s a political loser," Steinlight added. "There is no court that is going to stop Obama from doing anything. We all know, if there ever was a president that deserved to be impeached, it’s this guy. Alright? I mean, I wouldn’t stop. I would think being hung, drawn, and quartered is probably too good for him."
At that point, the audience applauded.
A June 26 poll by Gallup found that public approval for President Obama's handling of the immigration crisis had fallen to 31 percent.
