Video: Rick Santorum Confronts Mitt Romney Over Super Pac Ad

| by Michael Allen

A Romney-affiliated Super PAC has been airing an attack ad in South Carolina which suggests that Rick Santorum supports allowing felons in prison to vote. Tonight, at the GOP debate, Santorum confronted Romney about the ad (video below).

Santorum stated his view was that felons who have served their time and completed their probation and parole should have their right to vote restored. Santorum then pressed Romney whether he also believes people who have served their time should be allowed to vote.

Romney then acted as though he wasn't sure what the Super Pac ad stated about Santorum actually said and then finally stated: “I don’t think people who have committed violent crimes should be allowed to vote again.”
