Audio: Mitt Romney's Son Tagg Wanted to Hit Pres. Obama During Second Debate

| by Michael Allen

During an interview with North Carolina radio host Bill Lumaye, Mitt Romney's son Tagg Romney said President Obama's debate performance made him “wanna rush down to the debate stage and take a swing at him” (audio below), reports Mediaite.com.

President Obama has never called Romney a “liar," but Lumaye asked Tagg: "What is it like for you to hear the President of the United States call your dad a liar?”

Tagg Romney answered: “You want to jump out of your seat, and you wanna rush down to the debate stage and take a swing at him, but you know you can’t do that, because, well, first because there’s a lot of Secret Service between you and him, but also because this is just the nature of the process.”

Tagg also said that his dad gets “terrified” before debates.
