Miners Fired for Performing the Harlem Shake Dance on Job (Video)

Workers at an underground gold mine in Western Australia have fired by the Barminco mining company after for performing the Harlem Shake dance while on the job (video below).

According to 7News Perth, about 15 workers from the Agnew gold mine were fired for recording themselves doing the dance and uploading the video to YouTube.  They have also been banned for life from every Barminco mine around the world.

A letter from Barminco said the prank by the workers breached its “core values of safety, integrity and excellence."

The 'Harlem Shake' was created by video blogger named Filthy Frank. Versions by everyone from firefighters and Norwegian soldiers have now been uploaded to YouTube.
