What do you do when a moth crawls into your ear canal and refuses to come out? Enlist the help of your friends to remove the insect and capture the whole process on camera.
That’s what happened to a man, identified only as Mikey, who can be seen on video lying on the floor swearing after a moth flew into his ear, but it never exited, The Blaze reports.
“This s*** is f***** up, dude,” he shouts in the YouTube clip below.
He tells his friends he can hear “fluttering in his head,” before one of them eventually uses a pair of tweezers to pull out what appears to be a giant moth. You can see the insect flapping its wings deep inside Mikey’s ear, but his friends scream when they finally remove it.
To make things weirder, they also found a tick in his ear while searching for the moth.
“This huge friggin’ guy had a bug fly in his ear,” the description of the video reads. “We thought it was a little white moth, but what came out is unbelievable! CAUTION: Prepare for the heebie jeebies!”
This isn’t the first time a bug has been caught wandering into someone’s ear.
In August, a British father-of-three, 43-year-old Rob Fielding, felt a moth fly into his ear canal as he lay reading in bed. He ended up needing a 90-minute operation three days later to remove the insect, MailOnline reports.
And in June 2011, a 12-year-old boy in Colorado had a moth crawl into his ear as he fell asleep. But doctors caught the insect and put it in a cup to give to the kid as a keepsake.
