At the Changsha Central Hospital in China, doctors removed a spider that had been living in a woman's ear for five days, reports the NY Daily News and HuffingtonPost.com
Before the removal, doctors took a close-up picture of the spider inside the woman's ear.
Apparently, the woman had gone to the hospital complaining of an itchy ear, unaware that a spider had been living inside her ear.
To remove the spider, doctors flooded the woman's ear with saline solution and floated the insect out, without causing any bites.
The spider may have found his way into the woman's ear while she was renovating her house.
