'Twilight' Characters: Gay vs. Straight

| by

It was recently brought to my attention, recently being yesterday, that there is a huge discussion – one that is taking place the world over, about who is gay in the world of the Twilight Saga.
You know, if anyone can settle that for you it’s moi.

I assure you that if you read this you will have all the answers you need. Are you ready to begin? Let’s take a look at what I’ve been told and/or asked about thus far.

Nikki/Kristen?
Rob/Taylor?
Jackson/Taylor?
Nikki/Ashley?
Rob/Kristen?
Taylor/Kristen?
Ashley/Jackson?
Kellan/Ashley?
Kellan/Jackson?

Still with me? On the edge of your seat to find out who is with whom and what their sexual preferences are? Because I have the answers that will blow your mind. It is the only REAL answers that you will find located anywhere. The only ones that ANYONE should ever give you.

IT DOESN’T MATTER AND IT IS QUITE HONESTLY NONE OF YOUR CONCERN.

Their sexual orientation does NOT solidify nor hinder their ability to do their ‘job’. I assume you don’t ask your mail-carrier what their sexual preference is, or your dry-cleaner. I doubt that you have the audacity to ask the people who deliver, or make your food when you dine out if they prefer men or women, so WHY these people? Because they’re “Golden”? They’re “Celebrity”? *Shakes head*
THEY ARE PEOPLE.
HUMAN BEINGS.
I think, as whole, the general population seems to forget that the same respect you’d give your friends, or the common courtesy even, that you’d give a stranger on the street that you do not know, applies to the ‘Royalty’ of Hollywood as well.
Just because they’re in films or on a stage for your ‘entertainment’, it does NOT mean their personal lives are on display for your amusement.
Show them respect, courtesy, and allow them to have a life, one that you do not impact – because they should not influence every aspect of your life.
Their roles are their “JOBS”.
What if your boss butted his nose into everything you did personally, privately, outside of work? Yeah it would piss you off. So think about that, the next time you jump into a heated discussion about so and so’s sexuality or personal life – be they famous or otherwise.

That being said:

I’d gladly march in a Pride Parade. This is PRIDE MONTH. It makes no matter to me who your lovers are or what genitalia they possess, LOVE IS LOVE.
And we don’t fall in love with genders. Just so you know.
