Gary Carter Brain Tumors
Hall of Fame Expos/Mets catcher, Gary Carter, has been diagnosed with four small tumors on his brain and will go to Duke University Medical Center later this week for likely surgery.

MLB investigates Bartolo Colon Stem Cell Procedure
It looks like Colon may ultimately have some splaining to do about his recent success, through an interpreter of course. Do you think that after 14 major league seasons he really doesn’t understand or speak English, or can he speak it in a pinch? Can’t Beat Beato
Mets reliever Pedro Beato hurled 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief in a 7-3 loss to the Yankees on Saturday night finishing with one strikeout and no walks and extended his scoreless streak to 18 2/3 innings. Beato was acquired in the Rule 5 draft and was making his first appearance since returning from the disabled list May 17. Are we looking at the successor to K-Rod? Hmmmm…..
Jose Bautista clubbed his MLB leading 17th and 18th homer runs on Saturday going finished 3 for 4 with four RBI. Dude is now batting a MLB leading .364 too! Now with 18 HRs, 31 RBI and stealing his 5th base on the season Saturday, fantasy owners have to be tickled Bautista. He’s playing in Canada; surely there must be something we can investigate him for…….
