X-Men: Days of Future Past is gearing up to be a star studded film bringing back actors from past and future X-Men movies. Halle Berry is the latest star to confirm her return to the blockbuster franchise.
“Well those residual checks don’t hurt,” Berry joked when Jay Leno asked her why she decided to return to the role of Storm.
All jokes aside, Berry said it will be nice to get together with the whole cast again to film the movie.
“It’s a character that I love and the fans really love the whole series," Berry said. "They really love Storm. It’s like family. It’s fun to get back together with Hugh and everybody. It’s good fun."
Berry will team up with many of the past and present actors for the newest X-Men movie. It has been confirmed that Jennifer Lawrence will return as Mystique, James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Anna Paquin as Rogue, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ellen Page as Shadowcat.
It has been rumored that James Marsden will reprise his role as Cyclops and Famke Janssen will return as Phoenix, but there has been no official confirmation yet. There have also been some whispers Live Schreiber may return as Sabretooth. Taylor Kitsch wants to reprise his role as Gambit as well.
No word on whether Rebecca Romijn will return as Mystique.
X Men: Days of Future Past is scheduled to hit theaters summer of 2014.
