Wyclef Jean, a former star of The Fugees, who turned 43 on Wednesday, celebrated his birthday in a very different way.
Wyclef tweeted the caption alongside the revealing photo, writing, “TODAY I AM 43 YEARS OLD! I look And feel 26! U cant keep a good Man down! Keep a smile when they want you to frown!
Wyclef Jean embarked on his solo career after ending his stint with The Fugees in 1997. His latest self-entitled record is expected to be released soon.
The singer even tried to run for President of his native Haiti in 2010 but did not win the election.
Jean made headlines recently after he revealed his former lover and bandmate Lauryn Hill lied to him about the paternity of her son.
He said Lauryn tricked him into believing her firstborn son was his, when his father was really Bob Marley’s son, Rohan.
In an extract from his book Purpose, he wrote, “In that moment something died between us. I was married and Lauryn and I were having an affair, but she led me to believe that the baby was mine, and I couldn’t forgive that. She could no longer be my muse. Our love spell was broken.”
