A group of thieves were terrifyingly surprised when their attempted robbery of a van was interrupted my WWE wrestler The Rock, who was dressed in an FBI outfit for a movie role.
According to the Daily Mail, the wrestler was in Hackney, east London to film Fast and the Furious 6. Dwayne Johnson, 40, was tackling criminals on camera when he noticed the group of burglars approaching a padlocked van on set.
They were owned by the production company and contained expensive movie equipment.
That's when Johnson sprung into action. Fully outfitted in FBI agent gear, including a bullet proof vest and combat trousers, the wrestler ran toward the gang of burglars as he shouted and waved his fake FBI badge at them.
The potential thieves saw him and quickly fled the scene without stealing anything.
A source who saw the incident told The Sun: "It was so funny. The Rock looked like an action hero because he had his flak jacket on and an FBI badge in his hand. All of a sudden there was loads of gunfire and this giant dressed as a copper was about to mow them down."
Once they caught a glimpse of the giant wrestler, the gang "jumped out of their skin" and ran down a canal path, leaving the crew in peace.
The Fast and the Furious 6 will be released next May, and also stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Michelle Rodriguez.
