Actress Rose McGowan talked to 'Access Hollywood Live' (video below) about her role as Marique, the witch daughter of a warlord in Conan the Barbarian 3D. "The studio asked if I would shave my eyebrows and my hairline back to here," she said, indicating a line several inches above her forehead. "And I thought, sure, if you give me five million dollars."
McGowan said she sat in make-up from two to seven-thirty in the morning while a prosthetic was attached to her face and head. "I think she looks kind of majestic and amazing," she said. "It really freed me up to be as kind of weird as I wanted to be."
Conan the Barbarian 3D stars Jason Momoa, Rachel Nichols, McGowan, Stephen Lang, Ron Perlman, and Bob Sapp. This new version of the Conan mythology is unrelated to the Arnold Schwarzenegger Conan films. This tale follows Conan's adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.
