Video surfaced Tuesday of crack-smoking Toronto mayor Rob Ford dancing to a live reggae band inside the City Council chamber, as they played Bob Marley’s “One Love”.
The band was invited to perform to promote the local music industry, and played during the middle of an otherwise tense council meeting.
In the video, Ford dances to the live band and wipes away sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief.
At one point, the performer hands the microphone to Ford and he sings part of the Marley hit.
Along with his dance number, the meeting included Ford sarcastically apologizing for calling the council members corrupt.
“How about ‘I am so sorry?’ Is that as good as 'I apologized?’" Ford asked. "Which one do you want Madam Speaker? Like super, super, super, super, super, super, super, sorry?”
This is not the first video featuring Ford dancing. On Sunday, a video of him dancing and singing at the West Toronto Church of God was published online.
Witnesses at the church recalled that Ford smelled of marijuana.
