Ted Nugent Says His Pro-Gun Discovery Channel Show is About "Real Americans"

| by Michael Allen

Writing in his Washington Times column today, Ted Nugent promoted his new TV show,' Ted Nugent’s Gun Country,' which airs tonight on the Discovery Channel.

Nugent wrote that his reality series shows how "real Americans enjoy the great outdoors and peace through superior firepower."

He also attacked “the brainwashed cult of denial drooling in the shadow of a gun-hating media and White House.”

Oddly, Nugent did not acknowledge that the "gun-hating media" had given him his own TV show and a newspaper column -- or that President Barack Obama has never mentioned a single thing about taking away the rights of gun-owning hunters.

Nugent wrote in the Washington Times in part:

For the brainwashed cult of denial drooling in the shadow of a gun-hating media and White House: With all this unprecedented increase in guns and ammo in American citizens’ hands, the use of guns in crime is at an all-time low.

It’s not just “Ted Nugent’s Gun Country,” it’s hardworking, hard-playing America’s gun country, and we could not be prouder of it. Tune in to the Discovery Channel for, like our award-winning “Ted Nugent Spirit of the Wild” on the Outdoor Channel, you’ll witness how real Americans enjoy the great outdoors and peace through superior firepower.
