Susan Sarandon was a young actress with stars in her eyes. Like many actresses, she dreamed of making it big in show business.
Unfortunately for her, a casting directing took the opportunity to take advantage of her. Sarandon is finally speaking out about the terrible experience in the November issue of Elle Magazine,
“I just went into a room, and a guy practically threw me on the desk. It was my early days in New York, and it was really disgusting. It wasn’t like I gave it a second though, it was so badly done.”
Susan did not provide any further details as to which movie she was auditioning for – but her earlier movies include Joe, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), The Great Waldo Pepper (1975), Pretty Baby (1975), The Hunger (1983), The Witches of Eastwick (1987) and of course the role that made her a household name, Bull Durham.
Sarandon moved on quickly from the horrifying experience and went on to become a very successful, Oscar winning actress.
