Sheryl Crow was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor last year according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The singer’s tumor was discovered when she went to a hospital to be tested because she was experiencing memory loss.
“I haven’t really talked about it,” she told the newspaper, “In November, I found out I have a brain tumor. But it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it. But it gives me a fit.”
Crow has a history of memory loss dating back to the 1990s and most recently making headlines in May when she forgot the words to her hit song, ‘Soak Up the Sun’ while at a show in Florida.
Crow was so concerned about her memory she got an MRI and found out it was a brain tumor.
Thankfully, the tumor is benign, which means it isn’t cancerous.
Crow, who has two children, was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 2006, which was successfully treated that year.
