A “Seinfeld” reunion will happen in the near future, according to Jerry Seinfeld.
Rumors began last week about a Seinfeld reunion when Seinfeld, Jason Alexander and Larry David were spotted at the iconic Tom’s Restaurant in New York City’s Upper West Side.
While some speculated that the trio were being filmed for an episode of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee”, Seinfeld denied the theory on Thursday morning. Instead, he promised a reunion of the show’s cast.
Earlier this month Seinfeld hinted at a secret project during his Reddit AMA that would involve himself, Alexander and other Sienfeld characters. He also described the project as “short-ish”, but longer than 60 seconds, and a one-time thing involving Larry David.
Seinfeld has also confirmed that the filming will not be used as a Super Bowl commercial.
The project will be revealed “very, very soon” according to Sienfeld.
