Porn-Induced Headaches Plague 24-Year-Old Man

| by Alex Groberman

Generally speaking, at least once in every man’s life, the little head gets in the way of his big head making good decisions that will lead to long-term success and happiness.

Well, in the bizarre case of one 24-year-old bachelor from India, it’s the big head that’s getting in the way of the little head’s short-term pleasure.

According to a case study published this month in the journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, the aforementioned man from India (who goes unnamed, for obvious reasons) experiences "severe, exploding" headaches every single time he watches a porn movie.

Yes, seriously.

Per the case study, this guy can’t watch more than 10 minutes of a sex scene without feeling as though his head is going to pop. (The big head.)

"The intensity was so severe that he had to abort watching," researchers from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in New Delhiwrote wrote in the study.

Mind you, neither sex nor masturbation triggers the headaches – just watching dirty movies.

So, if the guy gets mind-blowing headaches every time he watches X-rated flicks, in theory, the solution would be to stop watching said flicks. Right? Wrong. Instead of foregoing the movies altogether, on the advice of his neurologists, the man takes “the equivalent of about 30 painkillers” half an hour before turning on the porn.

"This guy is interesting because he's just watching porn and not actually having sex," Dawn Buse, associate professor of neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and director of behavioral medicine at the Montefiore Headache Center in New York told ABC News. "But he probably still gets aroused and excited, which may be even worse than having sex because there's no release."

Despite the severity of this man’s problem – researchers have been unable to find what specifically triggers the headaches. Or, for that matter, how to prevent them without “the equivalent of about 30 painkillers” that the poor guy has to take now.

We can only hope that a cure is discovered sooner rather than later.
