Woman Creates Softcore Porn Site To Teach Teenagers About 'Making Love, Not Porn'

| by

Cindy Gallop has set up a softcore porn website so that teenagers can learn about sex rather than turning to hardcore pornography.

Gallop launched "Make Love Not Porn" in February with a focus on "real world sex" and things people will not see on a hardcore website. It already has 100,000 subscribers.

"Children are viewing porn years before they have their own sexual experiences and it is shaping their view of sex," Gallop told ABC's Nightline. "That is why showing real love making is so important. Young men and boys alike have a warped sense of what sex is like. I want to change that."

With hardcore pornography so easily accessible to teenagers, recent shocking research showed that 90 percent of kids between eight and 16 have viewed porn online. What's more, it is taking the place of normal sex education.

She is crusading to portray porn in a softer light and show "what goes on in the real world in all its funny, silly, glory, messy, ridiculous human-ness."
