Wade Robson Calls Michael Jackson A Pedophile Who Sexually Abused Him

| by

Wade Robson has come forward and claimed that Michael Jackson sexually abused him from the age of seven to 14. He has filed a suit against the Jackson estate, four years after Jackson's death.

"There is no excuse for what he did to me, but he was a troubled man...The image that one presents to the world is not the whole explanation of who someone is," Robson said on the Today Show. "Michael Jackson was yes, an incredibly talented artist with an incredible gift. He was many things. And he was also a pedophile and a child sexual abuser."

Robson claims that Jackson "performed sexual acts on me and I performed sexual acts on him."

When asked why Robson testified in 2005 that Jackson never had any inapproriate contact with him Robson said, "it was complete manipulation and brainwashing. He would role-play and train me for these scenarios" and said that Jackson told him if anyone ever found it "both of us would go to jail and our careers would be over."

Many in Jackson's camp have spoken out about Robson's allegations and said that he is just looking for a payday including Tom Mesereau, Jermaine Jackson and the lawyers for the estate.

"This is a pathetic and an obvious grab for publicity and an attempt to put pressure on the [Michael Jackson] Estate to pay him money," Tom Mesereau, the lawyer who defended Jackson in his 2005 child molestation trial, said. "Why call yourself a creditor if it's not about money?"

However, Robson says that the case is not about money.

"The idea that I would make all of this up and put my wife, my son, my entire family through this extremely stressful and painful experience all for the sake of money? That's completely incomprehensible," he said. "I've lived in silence and denial for 22 years...In order to fully heal, I have to speak the truth and I have to speak the whole truth."
