Ray J may have claimed when he released I Hit It First that the song wasn't about Kim Kardashian, despite the lyrics and the cover art, but he may not be able to keep that claim up with the release of the teaser video for the song.
In the song, Ray J sings, “Now the b***h chose to go West,” and the video flashes a shot of a Chicago highway sign that says “West." Kanye West is from Chicago.
“It’s not about that," Ray J said after the release of the song and immediate controversy that followed. "It’s about the concept, you know what I’m saying… I think people are digging into it way too deep.”
The teaser for the video is only 11 seconds long, but it features a Kim Kardashian look-alike. As much as Ray J says he wasn't trying to "create a war" with West, this video may do it.
