Arnold Schwarzennegger is set to take back the Cineplex next week as a recently retired member of the LAPD out to pasture in a sleepy New Mexico town in The Last Stand. Of course, things only get worse from there. The film, directed by Korean action master Jee-woon Kim, had a big red carpet premiere last night, Monday January 14, at Grauman’s Chinese Theater.
Of course Ahhnold was there as well as a lot of the cast, including Jaimie Alexander, Johnny Knoxville, Rodrigo Santoro, Genesis Rodriguez, Luis Guzmán, Peter Stormare, Christiana Leucas and John Patrick Amedori. Of course there were special guests, like a certain axe-wielding, no-shirt wearing, pole-dancing Wolfman.
The Last Stand will hit US theatres on January 18 and 25th January in the UK. Honestly, given the talent surrounding Ahhnold, both in front of and behind the camera, this could actually be a lot of fun.
So, who’s planning to see The Guvernator in The Last Stand? Feel free to sound off in the comments!
