Gordon Ramsay’s reality show Hotel GB, which stars Mary Portas and Gok Wan training people to run a real hotel, will not return for another season.
Channel 4′s Hotel GB, which boasted an array of stars for its first run, is said to have been cut due to poor ratings.
In the show, Ramsay and Portas ran two teams of celebrities battling to raise the most cash from guests.
Ramsay ran the in-house restaurant while Portas was in charge of the rooms.
Other celebrities took on other roles, including Gok overseeing the bar, Phil Spencer as maître d’ and Dr Christian Jessen running the gym. Kim Woodburn was head of housekeeping, Kirstie took the role of concierge and Katie Piper ran the spa.
There were 14 trainees who helped run the hotel, with all of them getting job offers at the end of the series.
Ramsay, the award-winning British chef, has a number of TV shows based on competitive cookery and food, including Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef and Gordon Ramsay’s Ultimate Cookery Course.
