If viewers were traumatized by Miley Cyrus twerking on MTV on Sunday night, they may have been shell-shocked again when "Fox & Friends" co-host Gretchen Carlson tried the infamous dance moves on Thursday morning.
Actor Robert Davi managed to get the 47-year-old ex-beauty queen to stand up, bend her knees, put her hands on her hips and thrust her pelvis forward... sort of (video below).
Davi told Carlson to "go out with a nice twerk" to a commercial in her pink short dress and high heels with her legs apart, noted the Daily Mail.
Carlson awkwardly tried to move as her co-hosts laughed.
"Let's just see you do it!' I'm not doing it," said Carlson.
"Someone call the coroner ... because 'Fox & Friends' host Gretchen Carlson just murdered the twerk on live TV ... and we mean that in the worst way possible. R.I.P.," stated TMZ.
