Five people were shot early this morning at the Fiesta nightclub in San Jose, California, while Chris Brown was performing at a private party.
The incident was caught on video (below) at about 1:20 a.m. by an unidentified bystander.
"There was screaming, pushing and running," Edgar Jimenez, a bartender, told the Mercury News. "Of course I was scared, because you're in the middle of a shooting."
Most of the witnesses refused to talk to the media because of fear for their safety, but one female partygoer said, "The shooting started when [Brown] started the third verse of the song. That's when everybody leaned back or dived."
Four people were taken to a local hospital, while another victim walked into the emergency room.
San Jose Police Department spokesperson Officer Albert Morales told NBC Bay Area that all the victims are expected to survive.
Brown was not injured. Later, he posted a video (below) on Vine of his reaction to the shooting.
The singer tweeted "100" after the shooting, but later deleted it.
