Brody Jenner Apologizes to “Girls Gone Wild” Maven Joe Francis

Socialite and former “Hills” star Brody Jenner has written a letter of apology to Joe Francis after admitting Joe was “wrongly accused” of beating up his former girlfriend, Jayde Nicole.

Brody Jenner has written a letter of apology to “Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis claiming he was wrongly accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend, Playboy model Jayde Nicole, in 2009.

Francis and Jayde Nicole had an argument at a bar in July 2009 and Jayde claimed she had suffered a “black eye, swollen face, and bruised ribs” in the incident in a Los Angeles club.

Jayde sued Francis for $1 million in October that year, citing “utter emotional distress and humiliation” but Francis hit back with his own lawsuit saying Nicole threatened to kill him during the scuffle.

Police checked out the surveillance video footage of the incident and supported Francis’ claim of self-defense. Neither were charged in the incident.

The dispute was settled out of court and Jenner was required to formally apologize to Joe Francis.

In the letter Jenner writes, “I would like to acknowledge for the record that the media reports that you beat up Jayde Nicole… were completely inaccurate…

“I have always known you to be a gentleman and I’m very sorry that you were wrongly accused that night.”

Jenner, who is now dating singer Avril Lavigne, even offered his congratulations to Francis on his wedding to journalist Christina McLarty, saying, “Please accept my congratulations and best wishes on your recent marriage.”
