We just can’t make this stuff up. How much trouble can one Tennessee Titans WR create in one offseason? Kenny Britt has had multiple legal issues that include marijuana and running from the police. Luckily, he hasn’t had the hammer come cracking down just yet and the Titans seem willing to stick with him.
But, now he has an issue with a Facebook posting. He now claims that he was hacked, but would you give him the benefit of the doubt at this point? He wrote:
“Retiring from the NFL. F*** You Goddell.”
The fact that “Goodell” is misspelled actually gives it some authenticity at this point. It was quickly deleted and well-written apology was soon issued.
“I made mistakes and i am sorry i am going to change …I will accept any penalty like a man … The road beings Sept 11 in Jacksonville.. ill be ready!!! my fbook was hacked with those past 2 status’s.. i am not retiring and do not have any hate toward the commissioner,” he wrote.
This guy is extremely talented, but I’m wondering if the Titans are actually jealous now that the Raiders were able to scoop up Darrius Heyward-Bey. Britt has “Grade A Pain in the Ass” written all over him.
And for the record, if someone did hack his Facebook account, it was someone he knew. When random hackers get a hold of your account, they promote Louis Vitton shoes and crap like that. They don’t know to say that you’re retiring from your company (by name) and to screw your boss (by name). Doesn’t happen.
