Big Ten, Big 12 Rule ESPN/USA Today Top 25 Rankings

The Big Ten and Big 12 emerged as the big winners in the preseason ESPN/USA Today Top 25 men’s basketball coaches poll released on Thursday.

As exprected, perennial championship contender Michigan State was ranked No. 2 behind Duke, the defending champions. Ohio State, Purdue, Illinois and Wisconsin also made appearances in the top 25.

From the Big 12, Kansas State, Kansas, Baylor, Missouri and Texas were all voted into the top 25 rankings.
